Welcome to Harleston, a jewel set in the heart of the Waveney Valley. The town is situated alongside the A143 Beccles / Diss road and can also be accessed from the A140 via the Pulhams.


Redenhall with Harleston Town Council runs the Harleston Community Leisure Facility based in the Leisure Centre which houses a gym, squash courts and function room.  The council is also responsible for the town’s Wednesday market, the allotments, the Recreation Ground including its play area and the cemetery in Redenhall.  It is also responsible for the War Memorial, the clock tower, bus shelters and a large number of streetlights in the town.

 The council office is open Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 9.30am – 1pm and Wednesday 1pm – 5pm.
