Walking with the Wounded

Posted 14/7/2017

Forward This book has been produced to mark the 100 years since the beginning of World War 1. As the names of those who died during World War 2 are on the same memorial, it seemed proper to include those people also. Any errors or omissions are unintentional. I am grateful to many people who have helped me in different ways. Family members have loaned photographs and shared information, James Pulford, who has checked the details of Harleston History and Margaret Bingham who has found extra family history for some Servicemen. Staff at the Norfolk Record Office, the Royal Norfolk Regimental Museum and the RAF Museum, and Harleston people who have found photographs of the area.
